feasting on octopus and sipping on mead made it a pleasant sunday.
many old faces were seen these past days, some brought on better memories than others.
basking in the light mist of the forest amongst the other party-goers i realized how strange i truly was, knowing all those around me, and only saying a few words.
the only old friend there was, was a new one. a young golden-retriever who seemed to find me whenever i ventured for a cigarette and solitude
when the music subsided, the barrels ran dry and the numbers dwindled there I was left with strangers
acquaintances of acquaintances...finding myself drinking water out of a bathroom sink; i looked to my side and see two emmy awards sitting next to seashell decorated picture frames....
in the early morning hours laying on a carpeted floor all i can hear is one man fighting another
"you fucking put your hand in her pants"
(loud smack)
"dude, ah fuck....your fucking breaking my cheek bone, dude I DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS YOUR GIRL"
"dont fuck with me"
"bill come on man!"
(loudthud)
then i fell asleep.
